AUDITION NOTICE

Cumberland Players and Herrick Theatricals are excited to announce auditions for a co-production of Jason Robert Brown's classic, THE LAST FIVE YEARS. This special programming is another way commemorate our 80th season of bringing live theater to Cumberland county!

Synopsis:
With an incredible score by Tony Award-winner Jason Robert Brown, The Last Five Years winds its way through the joyful, sad, and bittersweet moments of a couple over the course of their five-year relationship. See the highs and lows from both sides of the story, starting at the end with Cathy and the beginning with Jamie. This emotionally powerful and intimate musical has captivated both audiences and critics, winning a Drama Desk Award, a film adaptation, and performances around the world. In this story, the end is just the beginning.
Audition Details:
Please use the following Google Drive link to see audition instructions. Please prepare BOTH audition cuts. Incomplete audition submissions will not be accepted. Submissions are due by midnight on Friday, December 19th. Callbacks will be held at 7pm in person on Friday, January 2nd. Callback location TBD.
Rehearsal Process:
The schedule will be crafted around actor conflicts. Schedule will not be set in advance because of this. There will be roughly 2-3 days of rehearsal a week (all days of the weeks are open to rehearse dependent on conflicts). Please share all conflicts during the window of time listed in this form. Music and blocking rehearsals will happen between Camden and Cumberland counties.

Stipend:
Actors cast in the show will receive a stipend of $250 ($200 for performances, with an additional $50 for performers to start rehearsals completely off book).
